Linocut (relief print).
This is part of a series of prints and drawing which I’ve been working on for the past few years off and on. As of now, I’m calling it my ‘Animal’ series in which I’m doing ambiguous and abstracted self-portraits to turn inside-out the self at different moments in time and experience. These exaggerated facial forms hopefully allow for a higher expressive read as well as using the inherent ambiguity so that viewers can project their own ideas and assumptions into the work so that it becomes an expression of themselves as well.
Some of my darker stuff from over the years
I was wanting to post some of my photographs on here tonight.
Gif I made from an linear sketch I did last year. =)
Three layer silkscreen print done with a color blend. I started this print several months ago and only recently found the time to finish printing it. I did it based off of a moth which I found flitting around my kitchen a while back who let me photograph him

Lithostone before printing!
Interesting photoI took in the China-Town in San Fransisco.
